Continuing our successful collaboration with Rive Knives, we undertook an innovative project to create striking 3D animations and CGI shots that showcase their versatile pocketknives. Our objective was to highlight the intricate design and functionality of each knife across various environments, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship
This project involved developing detailed 3D assets for a range of knife colors, including Black, Translucent Green, Beige, and Dark Green. Each knife was represented in a cohesive visual theme, allowing potential customers to appreciate both the aesthetic and practical features of the product.
We developed a series of stills that focused on Rive Knives' diverse color variations. Each color was thoughtfully paired with a cohesive theme, creating a visually striking collection that resonates with the brand’s identity. This attention to detail not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also helps convey the unique character of each knife.
We also focused on the captivating translucent color options available, capturing their depth and uniqueness through advanced CGI techniques. Our goal was to create visuals that not only demonstrate the product’s quality but also evoke an emotional response from the audience.
A highlight of our project was the innovative explode shot we crafted. Rather than a simple exploded view, we designed a unique transition that draws the viewer in, allowing them to explore the knife’s construction in a dynamic way. This approach highlights the craftsmanship and functionality of each model, showcasing the intricate details and textures that set Rive Knives apart. From the richness of the grip materials to the sleek finishes of the blades, every aspect was meticulously rendered to ensure clarity and realism.
